The pressures of my mid sized social circles was enough to make it impossible to cut several of the people who sexually assaulted me out of my life. I’m civil with them outwardly and I do hang out with them.
How in the goddamn hell do you think the pressures of an entire music industry and American consumer culture, far larger than any social circle, might affect Rihanna?
