As if there is not an enormous amount of social pressure on Rihanna to “forgive” Chris Brown.

Because for every person reviling Chris Brown as the anti-Christ, there’s at least one thinking that everyone needs to just forget the whole thing and let poor Chris go about his life. And what kind of crimp is that in his ability to do that if she’s still gonna be MAD about it?

As if this shit doesn’t happen all the goddamn time. “Why can’t he come around? That was a long time ago. Oh, just talk to him. He’s different now. He said he’s sorry. You’re being such a drama queen!”

Fucking hell, the Grammys issued a statement saying that THEY were Chris Brown’s victim and he deserved a second chance for gratuitous praise on a national stage.

But hey, let’s go after the woman who is under huge amounts of pressure to be “mature” about the whole thing and exist peacefully in the same industry as him. Let’s tell her about how badly she was beaten like she doesn’t already fucking know because she was the one it was fucking done to.

Let’s just assume that she has “forgiven” him and tell her what a horrible person she is, rather than going after those we KNOW are trying their best to make her feel like she’s being “difficult” if she doesn’t.
