This shit is no joke.
My mom is a fairly attractive Caribbean woman, who works in a position of leadership that she was voted into by her peers.
She’s married to my dad, and happily so since 1984.
One of the white men from her job developed a crush on her. Obviously she rejected him, being married for like 20 years at that point.
He didn’t like that.
At all.
He began harassing her.
Sending her tons of emails. Hacking her websites and writing libelous messages on them claiming they’re from her. Making up new email addresses pretending to be her and sending shit messages to everyone on her job.
Today, he, a VERY large white man, blocked my not-so-large mother in her office by standing in the door. There’s no way she could fight him if he tried something, the size difference is like a foot and 150 pounds.
Thankfully my mother has a lot of not-shitty coworkers who literally damn nearly jumped on this guy.
He’s been harassing her for 2 and a half years and there is nothing she can do to stop him.
This is the upper level workforce for black women.
